I started to think
like a glacier on the brink

the transition from ice to water
what the brain does when it alters

and the stones left behind
take on a new arrangement of the mind

The weight of words never told
get heavier as they get cold

the young pick them up from the old
finding them where ever they rolled

Elemental forces
roam about like wild horses

as the temperature rises
life is full of surprises

chaotic and erratic
like finding things in the attic

What was once frozen
reveals the randomly chosen

but our underlying nature
is collectively so much greater
